Rufftown records signed artiste Wendy Shay has finally admitted she’s not comfortable with the way Ghanaians compare her to the late Ebony Reigns.
The ‘Masakra’ singer in an interview on Star Fm asked Ghanaians to forget about Ebony who’s dead and talk about her (Wendy) and what she’s doing in the music industry.
According to Wendy who seem to be trying her best to impress to Ghanaians, she doesn’t mind being compared to Ebony since the late singer is a legend but it’s becoming unbecoming, and it’s quite annoying.
“Ebony did a very good thing when she was alive so I definitely don’t see anything wrong with me looking at her footsteps to do mine because she is a legend,”
she said.
“It’s fine and it’s okay when people compare me to Ebony, I just wish after some time we will let her name rest”,
The singer added.
She stated that the reason why people see similarities between Ebony and herself is because she’s also a product of RuffTown records and Bullet has been writing her songs just as Ebony.
