The Ghana Police has announce a bounty of ¢10,000 for the one who helps the police find the killer of two police officers in Budumburam.
The suspect’s name is Eric Kojo Badu. He is believed to be the brain behind the killing of the two police officers at Gomoa Budumburam in the central region, which happened on Wednesday.
Several security agencies like the criminal investigation, intelligence and operations department have been dispatched to the crime scene to support in the investigations.
According to some eye witnesses, the robbers were in unregistered Toyota camry heading towards the Ofankor- Bawjiase road.
It was revealed that, the police exchanged fire with them which eventually saw one of the cops lying in a pool of blood.
The police tried crossing the robbers with their vehicle but fire was opened upon them which instantly killed one police officer and another officer was left in a critical condition.
The police were able to arrest three suspects in less than two hours.
In the past 30 days, five police officers have been shot and killed by armed robbers.
