Though today is a day for all fathers across the globe, some female celebrities in Ghana, out of their personal experiences have taken to social media to celebrate their mothers.
Yvonne Nelson who is known to have lost her dad, was first to set the trend by celebrating her mom in an instagram post sighted by Gossips24.com.
Snubbing her dad, Yvonne shared a photo of herself and her mum with the caption; “Happy FATHER’s Day to the woman who did it all for me! My beautiful MAMA❤️”

As if Yvonne’s weird post was not enough, Beverly Afaglo also took to instagram to share old photos of her mother eulogizing her for the immense impact she had in the actress’ life.
She wrote; “Happy Fathers Day to this strong woman.U ever knew the owner and headmistress of Ham International in dansoman and Rose of Sharon in Tema, u will know how much of a father figure she was to all.U were always there. Thank u mama.I love u forever ❤️ 🙏🏽“
