Sadly, not everyone gets to enjoy a three-square meal every day, or even a good meal once a day, and the story of this young boy who was found by some good samaritans will warm your hearts.
Some good citizens of Nigeria found this young boy who is a little above 9 years old picking food from their dustbin to fill his belly as he looked raggy in his clothes.
From the video chanced on by Gossips24.com, the young boy was asked why he was emptying different dustbins in search of food, but his response was that there is no food in his house.
The boy explained that he lives his with his mother in the Market and she doesn’t have any work at the moment, while his father travelled out of the state.
He also revealed how he picked face masks from the floor to sell to people in order to raise little money to buy food.
Touched by the little boy’s emotional story, some good Samaritans offered him money for food and also bought the face mask he was selling for 100 naira. They also assured him of assistance and asked him to visit their shop for more goodies in the coming days.
