Renowned Kumawood actor, Yaw Dabo has come to the defense of the likes of Ghanaian rapper, Sarkodie, D-Black, Nathalie Forte, Berla Mundi, and others who were scammed by Dr UN.
According to the comic actor, it is reasonable for anyone including Sarkodie to ditch the VGMAs for a supposed UN Award.
He explained that the name ‘UN’ – United Nations – just like other international bodies carries weight and anyone at would love to be honoured by such an organisation.
Yaw Dabo further stated that he would not blame the likes of Sarkodie for falling for such a scam and it was just right for the rapper to grace the mentioned UN ceremony instead of the VGMAs.
He said this in-line with reports suggesting that Sark ditched the VGMA’s to attend a ceremony organised by an alleged con artist, Dr Kwame Fordjour, in the name of the United Nations only for it to turn out that the scheme is a complete scam.
