Reverend Counsellor Oscar Siripi has slammed Tema based rapper, Solomon Andu Antwi, popularly known as Yaa Pono for advising students to smoke weed.

Uptown energy boss Yaa Pono aka Ponobiom advised the student of the University of Ghana to smoke marijuana if they are unable to learn and understand what is been taught them in school, this happened when the rapper mounted the stage at the Pent Hall week celebration last Saturday, 2nd March, 2019.

Reacting to Yaa Pono’s comment, the renowned counsellor, Oscar Siripi condemned the rapper for encouraging students of the university of Ghana to smoke weed.

The counselor in an interview with Sammy Forson on Daybreak Hitz, on HITZ FM, mentioned that Ponobiom should be questioned for his act and later prosecuted by law.

“Let’s go back to the young boys and girls and let them understand the importance of living a right life and that what they are seeing in school is different from the things they see out there. Other than that, if we sit down, Yaa Pono and the rubbish people will take over the airwaves, and once they take over, its a problem… He should be questioned and prosecuted if possible,” Counsellor Sripi told Sammy Forson
