We should support ourselves – Yaa Jackson calls for peace and unity among female musicians in Ghana

Budding Afropop soloist who doubles as a movie actress, Yaa Jackson, has called for peace and unity to exist among female musicians in the Ghanaian music industry, Gossips24.com reports.

In an exclusive interview with Ghana News Agency, the 19 year old female vocalist suggested that, female acts in the music industry should support themselves by promoting the works of each other on their various social media pages .

As sated by Yaa Jackson;

Unity is strength and is about time we female artistes realize that we need to be on the same page to push up our respective brands to enable us to compete with the guys. We should support each other by every means possible. For example, if a female artiste drops a good song we should promote it as the male artistes do.
