Wendy Shay has threatened to drag the producers of Netflix Movie titled Slay to court for using her intellectual property without her consent.
According to the honcho of Ruff Town Records, the producers used her hit song ‘All For you’ without giving her royalties and because of that, she would sue them unless they do the needful.
As asserted by the UBER DRIVER hitmaker, she watched the movie yesterday only to hear her song being played.
She further painfully complained that neither her consent nor that of her management’s own was sought.
Wendy Shay captioned an excerpt of the video she shared on her IG with the words below;
So, I watched this movie last night on Netflix and my song, ‘All for you’ was featured without my consent or that of my management. Producers of the movie ‘Slay’, it is a crime to use someone’s intellectual property without her consent. Kindly do the needful or i will see y’all in court.
