Wendy Shay slams Ghanaians for praising Davido’s feature with Nicki Minaj
Self-crowned Queen of Ghana music, Wendy Shay has slammed Ghanaians on social media for trashing their own artistes and hailing Davido for his feature with Nicki Minaj.
Davido, earlier, announced his upcoming collaboration with American female rapper, Nicki Minaj on twitter.
A few minutes after the announcement, Ghanaians on social media started comparing Nigerian artists to Ghanaian artists to the extent of even hailing Nigerian artists for making big moves than their West African counterparts – Ghana. These comments have awoken the popular GhanaVsNaija trend on Twitter.
Reacting to all these, Wendy Shay revealed how disappointed she is in Ghanaians as she made a wake-up call in a recent tweet sighted by Gossips24.com.
She said Ghanaians trash-talked Shatta’s feature with Beyonce, others said a whole lot after Stonebwoy featured Keri Hilson on his Anloga Junction album, but these same Ghanaians are praising Davido for featuring Nicki Minaj.
It’s obvious Wendy is not happy with the fact that some Ghanaians find fault in anything that their own musicians do.
She tweeted; “BEYONCÉ featured Shatta Wale But u ppl didn’t want to see it as a big deal Stonebwoy featured Keri Hilson and most of u were saying oh but Keri Hilson di3 dis n dat Now Davido features Nicki Minaj and Gh is singing praises Ghana wake up !”
