Just some few hours ago, one of Wendy Shay’s masterpiece(s) in her music catalogue dubbed “Pray For The World” was deleted by the digital video premiering giant, Youtube.
From what we have gathered, Wendy Shay’s video was deleted on YouTube on that count of copyright infringements. The Ghanaian diva sampled the popular ‘Jerusalema’ beat for her single.
Reacting to this sad and unfortunate development, the Rufftown records signee has vowed to legal deal with Youtube.
Her intentions became public after MOG took to his Twitter page to fire Ghanaians for switching on Wendy Shay.
Reacting to MOG’s tweet, Wendy Shay stated that her lawyers will deal with YouTube for infringing on her rights.
She explained that the cord progressions in her song is different from that of ‘Jerusalema’ and it is unfair for YouTube to pull her song down.
@mogbeatz this is the Country we are living in ooo …I will fight for my right because Pray for the World has a different chord progression from Jerusalema. SHAYGANG don’t worry my lawyers are dealing YouTube
