“We are not moved by your insults” – Child Rights Organization director tells critics

The director of Child Rights Organization – Mr Bright Appiah has given it hot to critics who have been insulting him and his organization ever since the issue of Akuapem Poloo’s conviction and 90-days jail term made it into the news.

According to the Child Rights activist – He is not perturbed over the numerous attacks coming his way following the court issue he had with Akuapem Poloo.

Recall that somewhere last year, Mr Bright Appiah reported the Ghanaian actress to the Director-General of CID and subsequently to the Domestic Violence and Victims Support Unit (DOVVSU) after she posted nude pictures of herself and her son on social media.

Akuapem Poloo was taken to court and sentenced to 90 days in jail about a week or two ago she was subsequently granted bail after spending two days; pending the final determination of her appeal challenging the 90-day jail term.

Netizens and celebs incuksing Reggie Rockstone, Bridegt Otoo, Kwaw Kese etc brutally insulted him and also asked him to go out to the streets and arrest all the parents who are using their kids for labour because they are the real culprits.

Reacting to the criticisms in an interview on Neat FM’s Me Man Nti programme, Bright Appiah said he’s not moved by the insults.

” . . we’re not moved at all; anything that will protect the child we’ll do it . . . they can go ahead with the insults, as for us we will continue to protect the child,” he said.
