The West African Examination Council [WAEC] have publicly communicated that they have launched a rigorous investigation to fish out all the culprits who have been involved in examination malpractices for this year’s WASSCE, Gossips24.com reports.
According to the examination body’s Branch Controller in the Ashanti region, Divine Worlanyo Agbenyo, anyone found guilty after the investigations would face a jail term.
…When we are writing the exams and we have irregular activities before or after the exams, all these are punishable…
Some of these are such that you can have the entire results for that paper cancelled. The onus rests on students and parents to ensure that children study hard to merit whatever certificate that they will be getting.
Mr. Agbenyo said during an on-air radio interview with Accra-based Citi FM.
In other news, whiles WASSCE candidates of Tweneboah Koduah SHS have threatened to boycott the impending papers after the science ‘apor’ they were expecting swerved them bigtime. Sekondi College boys also shared a self-recorded video of themselves online, heavily insulting Akuffo Addo over difficult Inter-science questions.
