A Carnival shopping centre jewellery store in South Africa had a very fatal shootout going on after some robbers decided to storm the store to steal some jewels but the police heard about it and rushed there before they left.
According to reports the armed robbers after seeing the police started firing some shots into the air as the police also retaliated by firing back at them.
The police who have been trained for such kind of incident was said to have killed two of the robbers whiles injuring one but unfortunately, the rest of them were able to escape from the scene of the event.
Colonel Dimakatso Sello who happens to be the Gauteng service spokesperson speaking to reporters revealed that there were seven armed robbers who stormed the store to steal the jewel.
According to him, the suspects started shooting on their way out but the security officers retaliated, killing two of the suspects and injuring one, while the others managed to flee.
