A very sad piece of information coming in has revealed that a boxer whose name has been identified as Taurai Zimunya has reportedly died shortly after he collapsed following a knockout.
The 24 years old Zambian boxer was said to have died during the third round of the match when his opponent Tinashe Majoni of Charles Manyuchi Academy in a lightweight bout at the Rise of Champions fight series in the Zimbabwean capital, Harare.
According to reports the young man was immediately treated at the ring after the knockout but his issue become very serious which led to him being rushed to the Parirenyatwa Hospital on oxygen support.
The young boxer was said to have died whiles they tried to conduct a scan on him to find where he had an injury by the doctors at Westend Clinic.
