A 50 years old man who went to steal some coconut has found himself falling to his death after climbing the tree to plug down the fruits.
The incident which took place in Saltpond on Thursday saw the deceased whose name was identified as Kwabena Tantantan falling from the tree to his death.
According to reports Kwabena Tantantan is said to be a known thief who steals coconut from the farms of people in the town so he can sell to gain some money to feed.
Residents of Saltpond who spoke to reporters revealed that they were not astounded because they have over the years presumed that Kwabena Tantantan had been pilfering from people’s farms and wanted proof.
