ORGANIZERS of the prestigious Vodafone Ghana Music Awards 2019 as part of celebrating 20 years of awarding Ghanaian musicians has introduced the ARTISTE OF THE DECADE category.
The category seeks to award artistes who have worked and contributed to the music industry between a timeline of 2008 to 2018(the year under review) and are still relevant in 2019 (Awarding year).
The new category which awards 10yrs of hard work from an artiste now becomes the prestigious amongst all categories in this year’s edition.
King Sark is the winner of artiste of the decade.
The category has the likes of Sarkodie, Shatta Wale, Stonebwoy, Okyeame Kwame, R2Bees, Efya, Becca, Joe Mettle and No Tribe.
