UK parliament has finally released a date to discuss the sanctions against the Nigerian government marked by the #ENDSARS protests which erupted in the country last month.
It can be recalled that during the peak of the #EndSARS protests, a petition was launched by Nigerian to citizens to the UK parliament to implement sanctions against the Nigerian Government and officials. The garnered over 220,000 signatures.
Following the success of the petition, members of the UK Parliament have scheduled November 23 to debate sanctions against the Nigerian government.
