Babawale Popoola and Fisayo Aderemi who are administrators of a WhatsApp group believed to have been used to propagate the endsars protests and the looting that came with it, have been arrested.
According to a report by Premium Times, the two were arrested on Thursday, November 5 but they have not been sent to court.
When asked, Yemisi Opalola, speaking on behalf of the police said that investigations are still ongoing and they would know what to do with them afterwards.
“they are still being investigated. After the investigation, we will know what to do.” He said.
The two have been asked to give up their group members who are believed to be partakers in the nationwide loot and destruction during the ensars protests.
