Two young men alleged to be Okada riders have been arrested by the Suhum Police Command for mobilizing youth to assault a nurse over the death of their mother.
The deceased identified as Korkor in her 40s who lived at Ali, a suburb of the Suhum Municipality was brought to the hospital when she was suffering from constipation on Sunday around 3pm.
Report by Daily Guide says nurses at the Emergency Center suspected the woman had Covid-19 symptoms, leaving her to her fate.
This infuriated the suspects who alleged that the nurses intentionally refused to take care of their late mother and drove the motor to the village community to mobilize the youth to storm the Hospital.
The angry youth hospital with motorbikes and descended angrily on the nurses at the Emergency ward.
The security man who saw the brouhaha immediately called the Suhum Municipal Police Command and they rushed to the scene to rescue the situation.
