Ghanaian revered female media personality who has also bagged in a lot of awards and honourable mentions under her sleeves would have been reported dead by now if not for the timely intervention of the security men at UTV.
According to the Head of Programs at the Despite Media Group, operating Peace FM, Okay FM, Neat FM and Hello FM in Kumasi two NDC zealots held her at a point in the premises of UTV.
This near-death experience follows after she blasted the NDC party for resorting to violence after the party’s leaders firmly rejected the EC’s final verdict with wild allegations against the EC’s chair, Jean Mensa, for massaging the election figures.
The fearless and assertive media personnel disclosed this on her ‘Critical Issue’ show on live television,
She is reported to have said;
The NDC had the election results against them after their protests are descending on media houses and we are currently receiving threats from unknown people. Yesterday two people were arrested here at UTV because they were sent to kill.
his is unfair, they are claiming we changed the Electoral results which sicken me a lot. In 2012 the New Patriotic Party felt cheated and they took the issue to court and later peacefully retracted their statements and attacks for them to remain in power.
So why can’t the NDC do the same and leave the media houses out of it? Our cameraman at one polling station had to escape for his dear life with a “Pragia” car. This is so annoying because we are doing our job. For me, I am ready to die for the truth. When am gone somebody will come and finish it for me
She ended her emotional sentiments by demanding that the NDC apologizes to media houses in the country for their poor approach to democracy before matters get out of hand.
