The Awutu Bereku Police Command in the Central Region has arrested two young men for assaulting a man at Awutu Bosomabena leading to his death.
The incident was said to have taken place after the suspected killers were said to have engaged in a fight with the deceased whose name was revealed as Christopher Avedzi, resulting in his death.
Chief Superintendent Joshua Semanyo who spoke to reporters revealed that the deceased man reported the incident to the police after the fight but was told to go get a medical report but never came back.
He further added that the deceased eventually died after a month when the event happened and during the autopsy was told by the doctors that their relative died from the assault some time.
The two people were said to have been arrested as they assist the police in investigations.
