Social media platform, Twitter has announced plans of setting up its headquarters in Ghana for Africa.
The co-founder and CEO of Twitter, Jack Dorsey in a tweet announced the company’s presence on the continent.
He said “Twitter is now present on the continent. Thank you Ghana and Nana Akufo-Addo”.
In his response, Nana Akufo-Addo revealed that he held a virtual meeting with Jack on April 7, 2021.
He further revealed that Twitter’s Africa operations will have its Head Quarters in Ghana.
“The choice of Ghana as HQ for Twitter’s Africa operations is excellent news. Gov’t and Ghanaians welcome very much this announcement and the confidence reposed in our country.”
