A trotro driver has been reported to have bitten off and swallowed the finger of a taskforce member who tried to arrest him for flouting the road rules.
According to reports, the incident took place at the Onuebonyi Junction in the Abakaliki metropolis Ebonyi State when some task force officer decided to arrest all those flouting the law by parking at unauthorized places as well as loading passengers.
The driver who was among the people who were caught for going against the law was said to have bitten off the finger of Kenneth the task force officer when the Ministry of Capital City Development and the taskforce team were on an inspection tour.
The victim was immediately sent to the emergency unit of the Alex Ekwueme Federal University Teaching Hospital, Abakaliki where he was been treated whiles the trotro driver has been arrested and would be processed to court.
