Bola Tinubu, the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and former Governor of Lagos State, has undergone another knee surgery at the John Hopkins University Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland,
The APC leader left the US on crutches for the United Kingdom a few days after the surgery.
It has also been learnt that he wanted the surgery in Paris, France but changed his plan over rumour of his death.

“Tinubu had his second surgery at John Hopkins University in Maryland recently. He was accompanied by a popular Nigerian doctor in Chicago. He had wanted the surgery in Paris but when rumour was rife about his death, he hurriedly left for Nigeria and went to John Hopkins,” one of the sources said.
The APC National Leader has been absent from official and party engagements in the country for some time, amid speculation that he is being groomed to succeed Muhammadu Buhari‘s dictatorial dictatorship in 2023.
