Three fraudsters who have been defrauding people have been grabbed by the Niger State Police Command on November 10 after a tip off.
Confirming the post on Tuesday, November 17, ASP Wasiu Abiodun revealed that the three criminals had duped three unsuspecting people to the tune of five hundred thousand Naira.
They picked their victims by hanging around banks and identifying people who left the banks with money.
”The victims were deceived and dispossesed of their monies, while the suspects drove off in the said vehicle. They were later arrested along Bida-Kutigi road at Wuya-Reke Village Gbako LGA by the Police after a hot chase,” A released statement said.
The suspects, Shedrack Madaki, 42, of Jema’a LGA of Kaduna State, Abdullahi Adamu, 47, of Fagge Dalla LGA of Kano State and Umaru Mohammed, 23, of Nasarawa Chikun LGA of Kaduna, confirmed that they have specialized in the business of defrauding through what they called ‘guy work’.
The police retrieved a Toyota Corolla vehicle with Reg. No. KWL 369 BD, a sum of two hundred and ninety eight thousand naira (#298,000;00k), two itel and Tecno phones from them.
