Celebrated Nigerian actor, Desmond Elliot has come under severe fire for his comment on the youth of Nigeria and what influenced their decision to stage an #EndSARS protest.
According to the actor turned legislature, the Nigerian youth know nothing about governance which has influenced their decision to go out there to protest against the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS).
He added that if the youth thinks they are fed up, they should give governance a try or better still because they claim to know more than those in authority, they should come and govern the nation if they want.
His comment has attracted mixed reactions from the online community.
Content creator, Kwadwo Sheldon reacting to his assertions likened him to John Dumelo who’s contesting for the Ayawaso West Wuogon constituency on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
He advised the constituents to reconsider their decision due to the recent behavior of Desmond Elliot.
