‘They are chasing the money’ – Edem subtly jabs Sarkodie and Samini for endorsing NPP (screenshot)

Ghanaian rapper, Denning Edem Hotor alias Edem has thrown subtle jabs at Sarkodie and Samini following their endorsement songs for Nana Akufo-Addo and the NPP.

Both Sarkodie and Samini, on November 2, 2020, shook the political airwaves in Ghana with their unprecedented tunes to show their support for Nana Addo’s appeal to seek four more years from Ghanaians as president.

The likes of Sam George, after the release of the songs, have alleged that both the rapper and the dancehall musicians were paid 500,000ghc for their endorsements hence shouldn’t be taken seriously.

Right after Sam’s revelation on Facebook, Edem took to twitter to jab the two top flight musicians who were both nominated in the VGMA 2019 Artist of the Decade category.

According to the TOTO crooner in a literal post which was written in patois, both Sarkodie and Samini parade themselves as kings but have proven they are not after the crown, but rather chasing the money.

His tweet reads; “Wolla dem fight fi the crown uno Man dem say dema the kings uno Bot demma work for the money not the crown uno “
