It seems Ghanaian songstress Wendy Shay has had her fair share of the ‘loveless’ music industry in Ghana.
Wendy Shay in a convo with celebrity blogger Kobby Kyei has disclosed grieved about the apathy and lack of love that exists in the music industry.
According to the Rufftown Records signee, a musicians in Ghana are not supportive of each other hence it is in a way killing the industry subtly.
She made a comparison to her colleagues in Nigeria who take it upon themselves to share songs made by their fellow artistes although they may not be under the same record label.
Wendy Shay bemoaned how the same experience can’t be seen among Ghanaian musicians as they hardly support new works by their colleagues as it has always been an individual affair.
So, she advised her colleagues to start pushing one another going forward.
