The system is working: Rev Owusu Bempah and his Junior pastors to appear before court today for threatening to deal with Nana Agradaa

The Ghana Police Service has finally issued a statement regarding the arrest of Reverend Isaac Owusu-Bempah and his junior pastors from Glorious Word Power Ministries International who made it into the news earlier last week after threatening Nana Agradaa with guns.

Rev. Isaac Owusu-Bempah and his other three junior pastors were apprehended yesterday, September 12th, according to a statement signed by the Assistant Commissioner of Police, AG, Director-General, Public Affairs, Kwesi Fori.

The pastors have been held for additional questioning in connection with the creation and distribution of various films including threats, brandishing weapons, and assaulting police officers, according to the communiqué.

Two other suspects are on the run and being pursued by the police, according to the communiqué. Whiles Rev. Bempah is scheduled to appear in court today, Monday, September 13th, 2021.
