“The church is not the final authority in marriages” – Counselor Lutterodt

Popular and controversial marriage and relationship expert; Counselor George Cyril Lutterodt has slammed pastors who bless marriages without the consent of parents of the couples.

As opined by the plain spoken counsellor, the church is not the final authority in marriages, hence pastors cannot bless or dissolve marriages without the presence of family members.

Counselor Lutterodt also added that modern-day pastors promote abuse in marriages because instead of them to counsel husbands or wives who mistreat their partners, they resort to prayers which he believes its absurd.

He further went on to advice that some marriages just need to be dissolved because there is no way it can work; Emphasizing that wasting time to pray won’t yield any positive benefits.

…The church is not the final authority in marriages. Most pastors just instruct couples to do things without understanding the root of their issues. Not every marriage issue needs prayers. Some marriages need proper counselling and some need to be dissolved…
