Kenya is set to apply some stricter COVID-19 measures as it continues to see an increase in the number of Corona Virus infections across the country.
The country which has seen over 1000 deaths will be closing down pubs and clubs again in its bid to control the huge numbers.
President Uhuru Kenyatta and opposition leader Raila Odinga received some backlash for leading huge crowds numbering over thousands just promoting some constitutional reforms amidst fears of second wave of COVID-19.
The crowd did not observe the safety covid protocols such as social distancing and wearing of nose masks.
Rallies and huge gatherings are therefore set to be banned.
