Popular Ghanaian media personality and Hitz FM presenter Dr. Pounds taken the Arab Money Gang (AMG) Business signee Medikal over his music promotion tactics.
You will recall that a few weeks ago, it was reported that Medikal and his girlfriend Fella Makafui has separated which sparked a lot of controversies.
Although they made their split very real, netizens believed it was just a publicity stunt because of their history.
During their reported split, Medikal released his song ‘Come Back’ which featured Highlife singer KiDi.
Giving his opinion in all this brouhaha about the separation and reunion of the couple as we reported earlier, Dr. Pounds the host of Hitz Gallery show slammed Medikal for using publicity stunts to promote his songs.
He was of the view that Medikal is too big an artist to use such avenues to push his song in order to make a hit.
The presenter expressed his disappointment over the rapper’s decision to use the break-up story to sell his “Come back” song which features KiDi.
He added that many people are angry and do not want to promote the song.
“The silly thing you did is what is making people not pay attention to the song. Stop the silly stunt to promote songs,” he said.
