Naira Marley fans defy lockdown, storm court to monitor his trial (Photos)

Despite lockdown directive and coronavirus fears, yet-to-be-identified fans of popular singer, Azeez Fashola also known as Naira Marley stormed the Lagos State Magistrates’ Court in Ogba to show support and monitor his trial as well.

Naira Marley was arrested by the Nigeria Police following his violation of lockdown order in Lagos.

On Sunday, the singer had been ordered to appear before the Police on Monday following the arrest of the popular Nollywood actress, Funke Akindele, who hosted an house party to mark her husband, JJC Skillz’ birthday in her house in Lagos on Saturday.

Naira Marley was arraigned alongside politician, Babatunde Gbadamosi but the state government decided to not go forward with the prosecution.
