Ghanaian-South African singer and songwriter, Adina Thembi Ndamse, has cautioned fans who pitch female industry players against each other with their insensitive comments.
Adina’s advice came after a female fan asked her whether she had a problem with Wendy Shay after she posted a group photo with Nana Ama Mcbrown, Kuami Eugene, Eno Barony, Wendy Shay and others on her Instagram page.
The post read;
“Hi Adina please do you have problem with Wendy Shay?”
In response to the question Adina wrote;
“@janet.okyere.5220 no I don’t and you guys need to stop with these questions! Stop instigating! Stop pitching females against each other! We all need to look out for each other not be against each other damn! Smh.”
Most Ghanaian female artists have admitted the lack of unity among female entertainers within the industry.
In light of this little scuffle, we hope the other artists learn from her and realise that by sticking together, they can grow together.
