Rapper Kontihene, has said in a new video that he has no issues with Stonebwoy, contrary to the perception many of the Bhim Nations fans have, adding that he’s tired with their constant insults aimed at him simply because he said recently that he loves Shatta Wale.
Kontihene, who has now rebranded to Ohene said it’s his mad love for Shatta Wale and his tenacity to ‘fight for his right’ that makes him admire him so much, reason why he’s more aligned to him.
He therefore said he does not understand why people come to his social media platform to heap insult on him simply because he professed his admiration for the SM boss.
In a live Facebook stream, the former VGMA Artiste of the Year and New Artiste of the Year winner reserved some harsh words for his critics and emphatically quizzed if Ghana can move forward with the kind of mindset majority of Stonebwoy’s fans have.
The ‘Asesa’ hitmaker said when the music industry was very ‘dry’ and industry players like himself and Shatta Wale (Bandana) were going beyond their limit to make the industry become formidable, Stonebwoy was probably in primary school.
The rapper seems to have incurred the wrath of Stonebwoy’s fans when he threw his weight behind Shatta Wale for ‘disrupting’ the 20th edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards moment after Stonebwoy was declared the winner of the Reggae/Dancehall Artiste of the Year.
Taking to his Facebook platform, the rapper who is also a very controversial personality himself, wrote: “SM….. #kingdom #my nigga can’t sit and take #tricks He is a true definition of a fighter – I just luv him @shattawalenima.”
