When will Ghana make a statement at the Mobo awards? Ghana’s very own Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy were nominated alongside 9 other African artists including Burna Boy, Master KG, Wizkid, Davido, and UK-based Afro B.
The aforementioned artistes were nominated in the Best International Act category which was to be determined by public vote.
However, at yesterday’s event, Ghana’s heavyweights, Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy failed to make a statement in the country’s name as the lost in the only category they were nominated in.
At the end of the day, Nigeria’s Burna Boy emerged winner of the Best International Act category.
Also, Nigeria’s Wizkid was crowned the Best African Act making it a double for Nigeria on the eve of the event.
