In a recent interview with Power FM, the most popular political general secretary and the general secretary of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketia better known as General Mosquito, revealed in a recent interview with Power FM that the newly elected executives of the NPP will not have much impact on the 2024 election and that Stephen Ntim, who has been vying to be the party’s national chairman since 2002, was voted in because people just wanted to try him and see, just like Ghanaians did to Akufo Addo.
He said in twi:
Let us try and see what led to Stephen Ntim’s victory. When Nana Addo urged Ghanaians to give him a chance and see, he achieved his goal of winning the election. That is what the delegates argued during the election. They said that Ntim was exhausted since he had unsuccessfully run for National Chairman five times, but the delegates should give him a go and decide for themselves. That is the precise reason Ghanaians supported Nana Addo, who is now to blame for the disaster the nation is in.
“Let us try him and see” helped Akufo-Addo win the presidency, but he failed miserably; similarly, “let us try him and see” helped Ntim win, but he, too, will fail.”
