We are still discussing the Black Stars of Ghana’s budget for 2019 AFCON which we made no profit whatsoever but spent millions of dollars.

Contrary to the breakdown of cash spent by the Black Stars in Egypt as presented to Parliament by the Minister of Youth and Sports, Mr Isaac Asiamah, new report suggests the each player pocketed $20,000.

Not long ago, Gossips24.com reported on Kwabena Owusu rubbishing claims that each player received a whopping $80,000 as appearance fees.

He’d said:

I was shocked when I heard the rumor that we received $80,000 as an appearance fee. We did not get $80,000 as appearance fee, our appearance fee was $20,000. Black Stars Players have received a lot of insults from Ghanaians after the AFCON tournament because Ghanaians lack knowledge about football.

It seems Kwabena Owusu is right after all after we stumbled upon this ‘white sheet’ which details the amount each player took with their respective signatures appended to the money they took.
