South Korea has lost its first Transgender military official, Byun after firefighters found her lifeless in her home.
Accorfding to reports, Byun underwent total body transformation in Thailand in the year 2019.
The defense ministry where she served announced her as a mental health patient when she decided to remove her male genitals during her transformation process.
Her death has triggered South Korean parliamentarians to pass a bill to criminalized gender discriminations.
