His Excellency Nana Akufo-Addo has pledged his commitment to building more toilets to ensure sanitation in the country.
Bushes, gutters, and uncompleted buildings were the places some citizens found comfort whenever nature called.
This caused a big breach in Ghana’s fight to ensure sanitation, as it became difficult since facilities like toilets weren’t made available by previous governments.
However, the Nana Addo administration revealed it will go all length to provide these facilities for both rural and urban areas.
The president at this year’s state of the nation address (#SOTNGhana ) made known his decision to continue the fight to ensure sanitation in all areas.
On Government’s welfare policies, he revealed his government will continue to build more toilets to ensure progress. He said, “We won’t stop building toilets, we’ll build more.”
