A soldier has been said to have beaten up two nurses after he sent his wife to the hospital for delivery and was asked to buy delivery packs for the delivery process.
The soldier who got angry by the words of the nurses was said to have beaten both of them as he left one of them with a broken leg.
According to reports, the soldier claimed the government had provided all the delivery packs that they need to use in the delivery of pregnant women but the nurses are making the work difficult by selling the items to them.
The Kwara State chapter of the National Association of Nigeria Nurses and Midwives, Alhaji Shehu Aminu confirmed the assault on the two health workers as he revealed that the soldier entered the office of the doctor after he was told to buy the delivery pack where he saw the two nurses and decided to teach them a lesson.
The two nurse have been admitted at the hospital receiving medical attention after the beating whiles the soldier has been arrested and detained by the 22 Armoured Brigade of the Nigeria Army, Sobi Cantonment, Ilorin, Kwara State
