Yesterday, much criticised CID boss, Maame Tiwaa Addo-Danquah alongside the IGP Mr. Oppong Boanuh (Ag), inaugurated an elevator at the CID headquarters in Accra.
There was a whole ceremony to inaugurate an elevator which social media users have described as a ‘common elevator’
The ceremony had several officers and dignitaries in attendance. Social media users, however, are not taking it lightly with the CID boss as they have described the inauguration as needless and a waste of time and resources when there are pressing issues in the country.
Many are also of the view that she has not been able to rescue the missing Taadi girls hence shouldn’t even have the nerve to flaunt these mere achievements online.

From the cross-section of comments from the above Twitter users, it is obvious that they are very unimpressed with the elevator talk less the commissioning of the elevator.
It is their view that quality time is being wasted on trivial issues whilst it could be channelled towards resolving the many security challenges the country is facing most prominent is the escalating rate of kidnapping.
