Ghanaian songstress, Sister Deborah, and broadcaster, Berla Mundi have been engaged in an argument on twitter over a subject that hovers around a good husband.

Their banter on twitter commenced when Berla Mundi shared a screenshot which had the inscription, “Believe it or not women with less friends makes a good wife”, as she quizzed her followers whether the statement was true or not.

Hours after the tweet was made, Sister Derby challenged the post as she disagreed with the inscription. She averred that abusive husbands also prefer their wives with less friends so they can beat their wives.

She added that most men want their wives to have few friends to they can benefit the most.

Berla agreed to Derby’s words but advised that women who find themselves in such situations should have a few good friends that can advise them the right way.

But Derby who seems to be peeved by the topic, perhaps having a similar experience in her past clapped back with a general punch. She wrote; “If you are looking for a husband who will control your life, don’t come and spread your weakness to us. “

Though some tweeps thought Derby was referring to Berla and for that matter sounded too harsh in her replies, others agreed with her.

But another group of tweeps also slammed Derby’s attitude claiming that is why the songstress is still single at an old age.
