Nigerian singer Omar Lay has been arrested by the police in Uganda.
According to reports, the singer was arrested by Katwe Police in Uganda along side the Managerof the venue identified as Dungu Ivanand the events manager Prim Kasanaare also in custody.
The popular singer is accused of performing in a large congregation which is the against the COVID-19 guideline in Uganda.
His arrest was confirmed by the assistant Superintendent of police and deputy police spokesman of Kampala police in Uganda.
