The Roman Catholic Church have sent a stern message to President Akufo-Addo on the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexuals, Transgender and Queer Individuals (LGBTQI) office opened in Accra.
According to a press statement issued by the Ghana Catholic Bishops’ Conference(GCBC) Church, condemns all those who support the practice of homosexuality in Ghana.

This comes after the LGBTQI+ Rights Ghana has opened an administrative office in Tesano, a suburb of Accra, Ghana.
According to the group, there is a need for respect for human rights hence setting up an office for support purposes is a step in the right direction.
The group organised a fundraiser which was attended by several diplomats including the Australian High Commissioner who pledged to support the group.
