Movie producer, Socrates Safo has attributed the fall of the local movie industry to the act of showing movies for free on television.
According to the controversial movie producer, the Kumawood industry and the entire movie industry took a nosedive after the contents were being aired for free on television.
Going on, Socrates Safo stated that, the initial plan was to show the first parts of movies on Television and later entice viewers to buy the other parts with money.
However, this plan seemed to have failed drastically as the entire movie industry is still at a standstill
