Family members of a deceased young lady have engaged in a very fierce fight during the burial of their relative as they dropped her casket to fight.
According to reports, the incident which took place in Luhya land saw the family of the lady refusing to allow the husband to bury her without paying for her dowries.
A report by a social media user who shared the video online revealed that the fight broke out because, in Luyha land, a wife is not buried in her husband’s homestead if he has not paid the dowry.
The man who knew about the law and still wanted to bury the lady resulted in a very heated fight between the two families.
