SHATTA MOVEMENT’s boss, Shatta Wale has made Ghana proud by bagging an award at the just ended 39th IRAWMA which was held virtually yesterday.
The most decorated African dancehall artiste emerged as the winner of the Best African Dancehall Entertainer category after he battled it out with Buffalo Soulja, Stonebwoy, Patoranking and Winky D from Zimbabwe.
Teen celebrated disc jockey famed as DJ Switch also grabbed as award as well as Kwame Yebaoh.
Unfortunately, Ghana music industry titans (Stonebwoy & Sarkodie) failed to win at the various categories they were nominated for.
Currently, Shatta Wale has six awards IRAWMAs in all making him the first and only African artiste to achieve such a feat.
