– Shatta Wale enjoyed a hero’s welcome as he arrived in Cape Coast to perform at the UCC’s SRC week celebrations.
– Shatta Wale’s convoy was mobbed by fans causing a massive traffic jam and he acknowledged their cheers by throwing money at them.
Shatta Wale brought the Central regional capital of Cape Coast to a standstill as he sprayed cash on the streets for his fans after arriving in the city ahead of an event at the University of Cape Coast (UCC).
The Shatta Movement boss was billed to perform at the UCC SRC week concert scheduled for the Cape Coast Stadium of Friday Night.
Arriving earlier in Cape Coast, Shatta Wale decided to pass through the town to apparently announce his presence in the coastal city.
This literally caused a traffic jam in the centre of the city (around the stadium to Kotokuraba Market area).
In a video sighted by Gossips24.com Shatta Wale who was sitting in an unregistered white Range Rover among a convoy of other posh cars popped out of the sunroof to acknowledge the cheers from his teeming fans.
As the convoy came to a halt due to traffic, the chants of Shatta’s name became louder with hawkers and other onlookers all joining.
Being the show man he is, the Gringo hitmaker brought out wads of cedi notes and threw into the crowd behind him and by his sides before getting back into the car which immediately sped off.
Clearly, Shatta Wale knows how to get a crowd excited.
