Charles Nii-Armah Mensah, popularly known as Shatta Wale is on the road to calvary this year as he goes overly international as days go by – nothing can stop this guy.
As if the ‘Dancehall King’ crown and his recent enskinment as the ‘Dancehall Naa’ is not enough, Shatta Wale is hoping to be crowned the BEER KING as the world’s King Of Beers, Budweiser made a proposal.
The International Beer Brand, Budweiser has shown interest in his brand and wants to sign him as brand ambassador.
In a tweet sighted by Gossips24.com, the beer company Budweiser which tags itself as the ‘King Of Beers’ mentioned Shatta Wale in the tweet expressing interest in working with him in the future.
They tweeted;
“@shattawalegh we hear you are #already the African Dancehall King. How about linking up for a collab on a future project with the King of Beers? #KingsRecognizeKings#BeAKing“
An excited Shatta Wale replied their tweet saying; “ got you and ever ready for this collab !!“

Budweiser recently has announced new multi-year global partnerships with English soccer’s Premier League and Spain’s La Liga.
The deals will be activated across five continents and in more than 20 countries, including the United Kingdom, China, South Africa, India, Chile and Nigeria. Activations will include trophy tours, viewing parties, broadcast media assets and content collaborations.
It’s therefore obvious that the brand wants to make an entry into Ghana and wants to use the dancehall king to promote the brand once it’s launched here in Ghana.
